A confident start in dental implantology

Dr Jaimin Shah took the Year Long Implant Course with the Campbell Academy – which is supported by Straumann – in 2020. He reflects on his learning experience:

“I was looking to start my implant journey and begin placing implants confidently.  The course was really good! It was well-structured and the speakers were very knowledgeable.  I particularly enjoyed meeting different clinicians and speakers. I also appreciated being shown a system that was definitely easy to use and versatile in different situations – I had not used the Straumann implant system before.“Since completing the programme, I have gone on to place approximately 40-50 implants per year with confidence. My ability to assess patients for implants has certainly improved and I am more confident reporting on and taking CBCT images. I am now starting to offer a range of implant treatment options in-house and have even bought a CBCT machine as was recommended on the course.
