With this addition, Corus enters in a new market to further consolidate Corus European footprint and leadership serving high-end digital prosthesis and orthodontics to advanced dental clinics in nine European countries.
The Byrnes Dental Laboratory was founded in 2006 by Tony and Ashley Byrne. With the leadership of Ashley Byrne since 2009 the company has not only grown successfully but also has become a reference in digital dental prosthesis in the UK and abroad. The lab, located in the Oxford area, delivers high-quality innovative products and services to advanced dental clinics spread amongst England, Scotland, and Ireland. Byrnes’ differential position in the market has been based on a highly innovative and skilled team of 47 people working in a state-of-the-art facility.
Now, as a shareholder of Corus, Ashley Byrne will maintain his responsibilities and leadership within Byrnes dental, in addition to contributing to the development strategy in the United Kingdom and the continuous product and services innovation within the company.
This is a first step for Corus in the United Kingdom with further expansion planned in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. The company seeks to integrate reputed and advanced dental laboratories lead by local entrepreneurs, who then become shareholders, maintaining the highest level of service nationally to their existing clients.
