Dr Faresh Desai, Treasurer of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), narrated his dental implant journey with uncompromising honesty, sharing lessons learned with attendees of Dentistry Show London.
Dr Desai talked through a range of his own clinical cases, highlighting mistakes in patient selection and execution to emphasise the importance of identifying and appreciating the errors in one’s own work.
By inviting attendees to observe his mistakes, Dr Desai put into action his belief that evolution is based on mentorship, observation and education.
In attendance was Krish, a third-year dentistry undergraduate student, who commented “the talk was really insightful – Dr Desai was open about his techniques over time, taking us through clinical cases step by step”.
