The second module of the IAS Advanced Diploma takes place on 9–12 September 2026 at IAS Academy HQ in Surrey, as part of the comprehensive two-year programme leading to the College of General Dentistry’s Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics (DipPCOrth).

The IAS Advanced Diploma is the most comprehensive orthodontic training programme available to UK GDPs, covering all appliance systems alongside radiography, biomechanics, multidisciplinary care, and the management of complex malocclusions including extraction cases. With 154 CPD hours delivered across six modules over two years, the programme combines interactive lectures, hands-on practicals, online webinars, and one-to-one specialist case supervision.

The College of General Dentistry recognises the IAS Advanced Diploma training as its preferred provider in preparation for the CGDent DipPCOrth qualification, the most significant recognition of the programme’s academic rigour and clinical standards.

Applications for future Advanced Diploma intakes are accepted on a rolling basis, so visit the website to learn more.
