Dentistry Show London 2026 has once again confirmed its place as the capital’s leading dental event, with this year’s show at Excel London welcoming record numbers of delegates across two inspiring days (9th – 10th October).
Under the theme “Gain more, grow faster, get ahead” 4,500 dental professionals from across the UK and beyond came together to tackle the real-world challenges facing the profession and discover the solutions set to shape its future. The programme featured more than 100 renowned speakers delivering cutting-edge clinical and business content across six theatres, giving every member of the dental team the chance to build a day around their own interests and goals.
Delegates benefitted from over 100 hours of enhanced CPD, with sessions tailored for the entire dental team – from practice owners and associates to therapists, hygienists, dental nurses, technicians and practice managers. With content spanning clinical excellence, practice growth, leadership, wellbeing and the latest in digital dentistry, there was something for everyone, whatever their role or stage of career.
A few highlights included:
- ‘Live a fulfilled Dental Life” – Speaker Jaz Gulati drew on eight years of podcast conversations with dentists, this session explored why some lose their passion while others stay fulfilled for decades, and the habits that keep the happiest dentists growing.
- “Beyond the smile: exploring the oral-systemic link and its role in overall health outcomes”- Speaker Victoria Sampson explored the links between oral health and conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cognitive decline. It also covered practical strategies for prevention and early detection.
- ‘What makes patients choose your practice? Standing out in a competitive landscape’ – Chaired by Trishala Lakhani, Dr Manrina Rhode, Mark Topley and Lucie Simic explored what drives patient choice, from team culture and communication to brand, patient experience and business strategy.
- ‘Her journey in dentistry: thriving through careers, life and everything in between’ – Chaired by Trishala Lakhani, Sarika Shah, Cat Edney and Ruth Baidoo looked at often-overlooked career topics. These included how to apply for and choose the right roles, how to handle setbacks and change, and why financial literacy matters.
- “Six months since the contract reform: what has changed and what’s next for the future of oral health” – Jason Wong gave an update on the latest policy and guidance changes affecting clinical practice.
Alongside the world-class education programme, delegates explored the latest innovations from more than 180 leading suppliers and manufacturers. The exhibition floor was buzzing throughout both days, with visitors taking advantage of exclusive show offers, live product demonstrations and hands-on training and getting a first look at the new technologies, materials and services set to make a difference in their practices.
“Every year we set out to build a programme that reflects what the whole dental team is really talking about, and this year’s show delivered exactly that,” said Senior Content Producer Océane Amoa-Thompson.
“From packed clinical sessions to honest conversations about wellbeing, leadership and the future of the profession, the energy in every theatre was incredible. It’s the speakers and delegates who make Dentistry Show London what it is, and we’re hugely grateful to everyone who shared their expertise, asked questions and joined in the conversation. We’re already looking forward to building on that next year.”
Beyond the busy theatres and exhibition floor, the show once again proved to be a valuable meeting point for the profession. Over the two days, delegates caught up with familiar faces, met new contacts and exchanged ideas with colleagues from across the dental team, making the most of a rare chance to step away from the surgery and connect with like-minded professionals.
Dentistry Show London will return to Excel London on 1-2 October 2027, promising another unmissable two days of inspiration, education and innovation for the whole dental team. Register your interest at london.dentistryshow.co.uk/register-interest.
