Headlining the event on Friday 13^th are two reputable international speakers: Professor Dr Markus B. Blatz and Dr Diana Tadros. Both making the trip from the USA, they are renowned in their respective subject fields of ceramic materials and fully digital restorative workflows – among much, much more.

The conference will be held at the Royal College of Physicians, London, continuing a long history of scientific innovation. Wake-up for workshops

The second day of the 22^nd Annual Conference will concentrate on a series of hands-on workshops and lectures. Each one will enhance clinical skills and knowledge for an improved workflow, but spaces are limited!

Dr Diana Tadros will return for a session that dives into digitally designing wax-ups during a consultation appointment, boosting communication channels. Also detailing the benefits of a digital workflow is Dr Michael Gray’s workshop on his POISE Protocol, a unique and predictable approach for limited preparation ceramic cases.

The frontiers of the future will depend on the equipment available for dental professionals to use. To light the way, game-changing technology will be on display during Dr Stefen Koubi’s lecture on how to simplify appointments with sophisticated robotic equipment. Dr Neil Harris will present an in-depth look at the future of smile design with CAD and 3D printed trial smiles, supported by SprintRay and ESM Digital for a transformative workflow.

For dentists and dental technicians, expert ceramist Alina Ceclan will guide attendees through live shade matching with OptiShade & Matisse, and how creating AI recipes with MiYO leads to predictable and repeatable outcomes for the perfect single central incisor. A similarly advanced workshop will be Dr Jugita Sybaite’s exploration of complex layering techniques and how to achieve natural results in an efficient way.

Looking more holistically at the oral cavity, Dr Paul Reaney, recognised for his leading work in Dental Sleep Medicine, will delve into the importance of sleep and how interdisciplinary approaches can improve patient care. Former BACD President Dr James Goolnik is also passionate about the wider connections between the mouth and the body. His lecture will investigate how aesthetic dentistry can be reframed as preventive medicine by stabilising biological drivers like caries risk, stress and bruxism.

Also present will be Dr Ken Harris, Dr Oliver Harman, Dr Neil Gerrard, Dr Jasmine Piran and, leading a session on the BACD Accreditation programme, Dr Peter Buchan and Dr Richard Coates.
