How it Began
Rose Lane Dental Technology’s involvement with BioHorizons and Camlog developed organically via a relationship with Dr Paul Swanson – an implantologist and owner of both Rose Lane Dental Practice and Dental Technology. As my clinical and laboratory work expanded, I became increasingly involved with BioHorizons and Camlog systems, initially from a restorative and surgical perspective.
The Investment in Technology
A key milestone in this relationship was the decision to invest in an IMES milling unit, allowing the laboratory to mill our own abutments in-house. This marked a shift from being a user of the system to becoming more deeply integrated with the BioHorizons and Camlog workflow, ultimately progressing to Qualified Manufacturing Partner (QMP) status. Alongside this, we worked closely on the development and use of surgical guides, strengthening the collaboration between clinical planning and laboratory execution.
For practices without an established network of labs to integrate their digital workflow and fabricate milled implant restorations or guides, access is available to Qualified Manufacturing Partners (QMPs).
