Henry Schein broadens its B.A. International prophylaxis device offering with the launch of the Ulticlean UC600L. Building on the foundation of the Ulticlean UC500L, the new unit introduces additional functionalities and features developed to help improve usability and the overall treatment experience.
Ulticlean UC600L – designed to support performance, ease of use, and clinical versatility
The new scaler and air polisher unit from B.A. International combines ultrasonic scaling and powder jet cleaning for both supra-gingival and sub-gingival applications, offering up to six operating modes – soft and ultra scaling, periodontic, implant maintenance, endodontic, and irrigation – to support a wide range of clinical needs.
Its lightweight, anti-slip design, and integrated LED illumination enable visibility and precision during treatment, while the LED-lit powder container allows clinicians to distinguish between powders to support more efficient workflows. Additional features include one-touch automatic cleaning cycles, a multilingual adaptive interface, a dual heating system that provides warm water for both ultrasonic and airstream functions, and with a nozzle design that provides a quieter airstream for an improved patient experience.
Accessories and prophylaxis powder options for the Ulticlean UC600L
The Ulticlean UC600L device is supplied with an extensive accessory pack that contains a range of initial equipment, including a supra-gingival and a sub-gingival handpiece, two scaler handpieces, and a selection of tips.
Additional companion items are also available separately, such as a dedicated cart for mobile use as well as wired and wireless foot pedals. Also available are BA prophylaxis powders that can be used with the unit; the Ulticlean Prophylaxis Powder Standard, based on sodium hydrogen carbonate for supragingival use, and the fine-grained Ulticlean Perio Plus Powder, based on tagatose for gentle sub- and supragingival use.
