The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) made a splash at the British Dental Conference & Dentistry Show (BDCDS) 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, launching its new ADI Implant Theatre that provided a dedicated educational platform for dental implant professionals across both days of the show.
The programme spanned a remarkable breadth of clinical and practice management thinking. Sally Rayment, restorative dentist, presented a compelling ten-year clinical audit on dental implant abutment fractures, making a robust case for masseteric Botox as a game-changing intervention for patients with parafunction.
Many other speakers took the stage across the two-day event. Dipesh Kothari brought a fresh perspective to practice excellence, drawing on Michelin-standard thinking to explore how the principles can be applied to the dental implant practice environment. Jason Bugless tackled the clinical challenges of screwless full-arch bridges. And dental technician Kristina Vaitelyte led “The Art of Planning Ahead”: a reminder that the best dental implant outcomes are built through close collaboration between clinician and technician.
Richard Cantillon, Executive Director of the ADI, said: “The theatre was a fantastic opportunity for clinicians and technicians alike to learn, share and grow together.”
