mydentist, the UK’s largest dental care provider, has relocated its practices in Wakefield to a new large-scale practice on Trinity Walk, following an investment of £2 million.
The brand-new practice, mydentist Trinity Walk, Wakefield, was officially opened by Practice Manager, Paula Thompson, and her team on 17th June 2026.
All the dentists and staff from the previous sites on Bond Street and Rishworth Street have moved to the new Trinity Walk practice, where patient appointments are now underway. The relocation has also seen an expansion of the team, which now consists of 30+ members of staff, including dentists, dental nurses, reception staff, treatment co-ordinators and managers.
The merge and relocation of the practices mark a substantial enhancement for the 19,700+ patients mydentist treats within the Wakefield community. Patients are set to benefit from a new, state-of-the-art practice, a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as improved travel links, convenient parking, and wheelchair and disabled access.
The relocation of the practice will see an expansion of seven to nine surgeries, with the capacity to expand to 15 surgeries in the future. The new practice will also be accepting NHS patients where capacity allows.

The new mydentist Wakefield practice offers a full range of treatments across three tiers of affordable dentistry – NHS dental care, myoptions private dental care and Premium private dental care. The practice offers myoptions affordable private check-ups and hygiene appointments through online booking, as well as a wide variety of cosmetic services, including whitening, teeth straightening, smile makeover and facial aesthetics.

Additionally, Paula Thompson, the Practice Manager, takes part in the annual Memory Walk at South Shields to support the Alzheimer’s Society.
