Dr Ronan Lee recently completed the Align, Bleach and Bond (ABB) course with IAS Academy and here shares his experience:
“As an early career dentist, I wanted to understand how to practically apply the ABB concept for my patients. I had attended other online aligner courses, but felt they didn’t provide confidence to implement what I had learned.
“This course exceeded my expectations. I thought it would focus solely on patients wanting to improve smile aesthetics, but I left with a much deeper understanding of how a restricted envelope can lead to tooth wear, and the restorative process involved in restoring a functional dentition.
“My approach in practice has completely changed. I assess patients differently and the way I discuss treatment plans has also changed in relation to the prevention of crowding and wear. I realised how frequently early tooth wear or a collapsing arch can be missed in clinic.
“If you are two–three years post-graduation, looking for guidance to improve the quality of your dentistry, I would 100% recommend this course.”
