mydentist, the UK’s largest dental care provider, has recently undertaken a relocation of its Ipswich practice following a substantial investment of £1.6 million; to provide increased accessibility and expanding the services it can provide to the community.
The new practice at The Rosehill Centre, which is now located at 3 Hines Road, was officially opened on 14th May by Practice Manager, Jo Tupper and her team, marks a substantial enhancement for the local people mydentist treats within the Ipswich community.
Patients can now benefit from a modern, state-of-the-art practice, a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as longer opening hours, patient parking, and improved wheelchair and disabled access.
The relocation from The Orwell Dental Surgery to The Rosehill Centre has allowed for expansion from seven to 11 surgeries, with capacity to increase to 14 surgeries in the future. The new practice has also provided subsequent job creation for the area, boosting the experienced team of over 40 dentists, dental nurses, reception staff, treatment co-ordinators and managers. Through relocating to the new site, mydentist has created 18 new jobs – including 6 nurse roles, 7 dentist and hygiene roles, 6 receptionist roles and a treatment coordinator.

The new mydentist Ipswich practice is offering a full range of treatments across three tiers of affordable dentistry – NHS dental care, myoptions private dental care and Premium private dental care. The practice will offer myoptions affordable private check-ups and hygiene appointments through online booking, as well as a wide variety of cosmetic services, including whitening, teeth straightening, implants, smile makeover and facial aesthetics.

The Rosehill Centre team bring a wealth of experience and genuine commitment to patient care. Several mydentist clinicians and team members have dedicated more than a decade of service, including dentists Alina Ormindean, Shakuntala Kodavaluru, Gerhard Guldenpfennig, and head nurse, Chiara Merico, all of whom are excited to welcome patients.
The practice is committed to developing the next generation of dental professionals, with two mentees currently starting their careers in practice, including one who qualified last year, and two clinicians who have remained with the team after completing the mentorship programme in the past two years.
The practice team also actively supports charitable causes, raising more than £1,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association in 2025, and is proud to welcome new patients linked to the Toothless in Suffolk initiative, a grassroots campaign group, launched in 2021 to help people from the local community gain access to dental services.
