Dr George Wright, recently appointed Dental Director at Dental Protection, will be one of the speakers at this year’s British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show in Birmingham.

Dr Wright will speak at the Dental Nurses Forum on 16 May. His presentation will cover the core principles of effective dental record keeping in line with GDC standards, including accuracy, clarity, contemporaneous entries, and relevance to patient care.

Dr Wright commented: “Over time, we have seen the impact that common record-keeping risks and errors have on dental professionals. This is a great opportunity to discuss how to implement practical strategies to ensure records are compliant, defensible, and patient-focused. We will look at complaints and regulatory case studies and provide practical, defensible record-keeping tips tailored to dental nurses and oral health practitioners.

“Talking with Dental Protection members – and to those thinking about joining us – is a key part of my new role as Dental Director. I am looking forward to speaking to as many people as possible during the conference.”

Dr Wright and the team will be at the Dental Protection stand G62. The British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2026 will be held on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May, at NEC Birmingham.
