Alongside the annual study day on Saturday 13th June, the BES Early Career Group will be hosting the Managing Dental Trauma in Practice Workshop on Friday 12th June 2026 in London.

The aim of this workshop is to improve clinicians’ confidence in managing dental trauma through gaining practical knowledge and hands-on skills. Understanding the injuries from first principles will facilitate and simplify planning and management to achieve predictable results.

Using case-based discussions, this unique session will cover the diagnosis and management of common traumatic injuries. This will include an emphasis on how to prioritise care based on the type of trauma and highlight the long-term consequences of the conditions.

Protocols for dealing with traumatic dental injuries will be discussed, with hands-on training for repositioning and splinting teeth. There will also be an opportunity to perform pulpotomies on anterior teeth with fractures exposing the pulp.

With 6 hours of CPD available, this is a great opportunity for endo-loving early career dentists to enhance their knowledge and skills in endodontology.
