Dr Jack Gardner, Practice Principal at Whitehill House Dental Practice, Halifax, discussed his approach to an orthodontic case, and his first time utilising palate expansion.

He was supported by the IAS Academy team, who offer mentoring to clinicians during and following their leading courses. Dr Gardner said:

“The treatment plan was shared with mentors at IAS Academy, who provided guidance throughout this course of treatment. At each step, they would give advice and expert insights on elements such as space creation, and optimal movement for each aspect of the dentition.

“This meant each step was taken with confidence, for a predictable outcome.”

IAS Academy presents a range of courses for clinicians, including the Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics. Designed to give a comprehensive understanding of care with fixed and clear aligner solutions, for a range of treatment needs, it ensures confidence in every case.
