The Dental Defence Union (DDU) has today launched their new dental education programme, in partnership with Red Whale, one of the UK’s leading healthcare education providers.
The 12-month programme, which will provide over 10 hours of GDC verifiable CPD and is available exclusively to DDU members, is designed to support dentists during real-life situations by covering clinical challenges via easy-to-digest modules and live discussions, case studies and quizzes. The programme is led by qualified and practising GDPs so participants can be reassured that the educators understand the challenges faced by dental professionals.
This launch follows the GDC updating its CPD scheme for registrants to ensure it is more accessible and flexible for dental professionals, especially when undertaking, recording, and submitting CPD.
Red Whale, which joined the MDU Group in 2024, was founded in 2007 and has become a leading and trusted name in the healthcare education sector, delivering high quality training and resources to around 30,000 primary care professionals every year.
