Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Bell Street Dental Practice in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Bell Street is a two-surgery NHS practice located in the historic Dorset town of Shaftesbury, on the site of the former Shaftesbury Abbey, which was built in 888 and destroyed in 1539.
The practice has been under the stewardship of the same family since 1968, most recently owned by Dr Garfield Carnall, who took over from his father. Garfield recently chose to sell the practice as part of his own retirement planning.
Following a confidential sales process with Chris Lekkas at Christie & Co, the practice has been purchased by expanding regional operators and business partners, Theo Pelican and Cristian Tanasoiu. Their wives, both qualified dentists, will be supporting the clinical team as the practice continues to grow.
The partnership is steadily building a local portfolio of practices with a strong focus on modernisation, regularly refurbishing premises, investing in state-of-the-art equipment, and expanding capacity through additional surgeries and enhanced services.

Bell Street Dental Practice was sold for an undisclosed price.
