The BACD 21st Annual Conference champions the latest developments in ethical cosmetic dental treatments, from ground-breaking technologies to more streamlined workflows.
Dr Simon Chard, an esteemed cosmetic and implant dentist based at Rothley Lodge Dental, Surrey, will lead a workshop at the event, titled ‘Unlock the Power of 3D Printing in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.’ He sets the scene:
“I am very excited about how 3D printing can improve our daily workflow. From manufacturing multiple dental prostheses or indirect restorations, innovations in the technology mean we can 3D printing in ways not previously done.
“Attendees of the workshop will gain a hands-on experience with 3D printing workflows using the ecosystems of the session’s sponsors: SprintRay and Ivoclar. This will optimise the aesthetic results of their treatments whilst illuminating all of the practical applications of this technology – including as a viable alternative to traditional porcelain or direct composite veneers. I look forward to showcasing a new frontier for ethical cosmetic dentistry – see you there.”
