The British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN), the UK’s professional association for dental nurses, is delighted to be working with Initial Medical, one of the leading providers of UK medical waste management services, on an online survey regarding needlestick and other sharps injuries.
The Survey, which is open to all dental nurses, both BADN members and non-members, in the UK and Ireland, covers the following topics:
- Frequency of handling needles and sharps
- Personal experiences with inoculation injuries
- Training and preparedness for managing injuries
- Workplace safety measures and improvements
