The British Endodontic Society (BES) is a membership organisation, dedicated to promoting and advancing the dental and general health of the nation through exceptional engagements, networking, clinical guidance and much more.
At BDIA Dental Showcase this year, the BES provided a unique opportunity to learn more from experts about the initial management and long-term consequences of dental trauma in adult patients.
Specialist endodontist, senior lecturer and honorary consultant at Newcastle University, Professor Simon Stone shared the stage with Dr Daniel Vaz de Souza, specialist endodontist and Chair of the BES Early Career Group. Together, they emphasised the importance of investigating dental injuries in the early stages to reduce the risk of complications.
The well-attended lecture was a dynamic and detailed overview of the complex presentations often found in adult patients who have experienced a traumatic dental injury.
