The 41st edition of the International Dental Show (IDS) kicked off on Monday (24th March) with an evening reception at KölnSKY. The world’s leading trade fair for dentistry and dental technology officially starts today on the Cologne exhibition grounds, once again making the city the global centre of the dental industry.
A significant moment of the evening was the signing of the contract extension between GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH, the commercial enterprise of the German Dental Industry Association (VDDI) and Koelnmesse GmbH.
IDS has been based in Cologne for more than 30 years. The long-standing close co-operation will now be continued.
IDS has stood for innovation, quality and international exchange for decades – and Cologne offers the perfect stage for this. By extending the contract, we are jointly sending a clear signal of continuity and future security,“ says Mark Stephen Pace, Chairman of the VDDI. With over 2,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, a foreign share of around 77 percent and an exhibition area of 180,000 square metres, IDS 2025 will impressively underline its role as the world’s leading industry show over the next five days
