Dr Veeren Gupta is the Principal dentist at Bromley Park Dental & Implant Centre where he provides everything from single tooth dental implants to complex procedures such as bone grafting, sinus grafting and full mouth dental implants. Dr Gupta recently completed the Advanced Horizontal & Vertical Augmentation course from The Academy of Soft and Hard Tissue Augmentation (ASHA) Club presented by Dr S. Balaji. He shares his experience of the course, and why he chose ASHA:
“I chose to enrol on the Advanced Horizontal & Vertical Augmentation course as I wanted to learn more about complex surgery and how to help my patients by learning from a renowned surgeon. Dr Balaji’s teaching style is very relaxed and approachable, and the course was well organised and flowed very well. The course structure was very good and easy to understand. I lecture myself, and I have learnt a lot about how to speak by listening to how Balaji teaches complex techniques. Balaji has so much to teach – I feel that a week wouldn’t be enough for him to share all he knows!
“Since completing the course I have treated patients for vertical and horizontal augmentation in a way I wouldn’t have been able to, nor would have had the confidence to, attempt if it were not for this course. The impact has been massive, not only in understanding what is possible with augmentation, but also how to undertake soft tissue augmentation predictably.
