The Therapist Support Programme at Clyde Munro has been designed specifically to enable dental therapists to consolidate, expand and fully utilise their skills in practice. Whether you are new to the profession, new to the country or simply looking to refresh and refine your capabilities, this programme is ideal.
The course covers a range of topics, including:
• Preventive dentistry – fluoride varnish application, fissure sealants, Childsmile charity delivery
• Restorative dentistry – deciduous teeth restorations such as stainless steel crowns
• Deciduous teeth extractions
• Periodontal treatment – BPE, full pocket depth recording and monitoring
• Radiograph capture
• Placement of dressings and temporarily re-cementing crowns
Throughout the programme, individuals also receive one-to-one assistance from a hands-on clinical support team and access to cutting-edge materials and digital technologies. Further showing our appreciation for our dental therapists, we offer a starting salary of £30,000 for the first year in a Clyde Munro practice, as well as 33 days holiday allowance.
