Smile Together has published its2023/2024 Social and Environmental Impact Report entitled: “A year of giving”.

According to Chair of the Board Mark Johnstone: “One of our four values is to be generous, to demonstrate understanding and patience and go the extra mile for our colleagues, our patients and our community. I think it’s fair to say that we’ve well and truly demonstrated our generosity this year! We deliver much-needed urgent and emergency care alongside a range of NHS referral and private services, whilst working in partnership with others to make every contact count.”

Smile Together is an employee-owned community interest company and certified B Corporation, with an engaged and passionate team, dedicated to making a difference for those who need care most. Since 2016 they have reinvested over £7 million into patient facilities, their people and local communities, tackling oral health inequalities across the county and beyond, achieving even greater impact through an integrated partnership approach.

Mark continues: “A big thank you as always to our colleagues, commissioners and other partners for their commitment, resilience and support as we continue to navigate our way through our ever-evolving dental landscape, responding positively to those changes in line with our other values of being bold, inspirational and authentic. We’re thrilled to publish our Social and Environmental Impact Report for 2023/24, demonstrating the delivery of our vision for healthier, happier communities in such a consistently meaningful, transformative and generous way.”
