More than 500 delegates attended Invisalign Live, Align Technology’s flagship event which took place on 7-8 June 2024 at Sancroft, St Pauls, in London.  For the first time the company invited Orthodontic Specialists, General Dentists and practice teams to come together to experience a blend of immersive educational sessions, focused breakout sessions, experiential hands-on learning and networking opportunities aimed at both enhancing their comprehension of the scope of Invisalign clear aligners and the Align Digital Platform™ and propelling them onto the next phase of their digital dentistry journey.

Delegates were advised that Align advocates a holistic approach and supports collaboration between Orthodontists and General Dentists to deliver doctor-directed care to patients. They also learned that teeth alignment extends beyond cosmetic concerns; it can treat complex malocclusions, be used as a stand-alone treatment or form part of a broader comprehensive ortho-restorative treatment plan.  It is also indispensable for the maintenance of optimal oral health.

Over 20 expert speakers delivered a robust agenda of Invisalign and iTero-focused education designed to propel doctors’ restorative and orthodontic capabilities, with a range of action-orientated clinical and practice growth strategies. The plenary sessions featured keynote presentations from highly respected international speakers, whilst 21 clinical breakout channels, panel discussions, and programmes were curated for participants depending on their speciality, credentials and stage of Invisalign experience. There was also a parallel team track for Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists and Orthodontic Therapists.

The agenda also showcased the transformative potential of the latest digital technologies and solutions Align has introduced most recently – or will be previewing for the first time in the UK this year.  Other highlights included a Women in Dentistry Breakfast and awards were presented in six clinical and practice development categories. Participants were also encouraged to take part in practical activities in the hands-on Innovations Hub where they could explore some of Align’s latest solutions and products.
