Corsodyl is launching a brand-new Gum Strength & Protect line comprising of two toothpastes and a daily mouthwash, which are clinically proven to protect against gum problems[1]. The new range will tap into consumer demand for oral care solutions that help consumers proactively manage their gum health, preventing issues associated with poor oral health from arising.

With over half of the UK population experiencing gum problems[2] and many not believing that their condition is severe enough for treatment, there is a clear need for an oral care range that helps to promote good gum health and prevent problems from arising in the future. Corsodyl’s Gum Strength & Protect line is designed to strengthen the gum seal around teeth for long-lasting gum protection[3]. Unique for Corsodyl, the product is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid, a key building block of strong gums[4], and features IPMP (Isopropyl Methylphenol) and Zinc as antibacterial active ingredients. IPMP has been shown to reduce the regrowth of plaque[5], and the inclusion of zinc in oral hygiene products reduces oral malodour, reduces tartar formation and as an anti-bacterial agent to help to control plaque[6].

Dr Kate Fabrikant, Medical Lead Northern Europe Haleon, comments: “We know that consumers are wanting to take more measures to protect and proactively manage their gum health in between dentist visits. As a specialist gum expert brand, we have a responsibility to continue providing oral health products that keep up with the evolving needs of consumers The new Gum Strength & Protect range offers shoppers daily preventative care to tackle gum problems and stop them from getting worse.”

The Corsodyl Gum Strength & Protect toothpaste will be available in Whitening and Fresh Mint variants, and the Gum Strength & Protect mouthwash in Icy Mint. The range will be available in Boots from 10th June 2024, with the range being stocked at Tesco and Sainsburys later in June. The MSRP is £6*.
