Simone Grandini will be presenting his session at the upcoming IFEA World Endodontic Congress in Glasgow. He describes what attendees can expect:

My main interest, in terms of research, is post-endodontic restoration and the association between non-communicable diseases and periapical and periodontal disease.

The title of my presentation is “De-coding multimorbidity in root to crown treatment planning”. I really hope delegates will understand the importance of coronal restorations, in particular, planning and correctly executing endodontic and restorative dentistry at the same time for a better outcome of the endodontic treatment. I also hope that attendees will understand the importance of focussing on the patient. We need to focus more on the general health of the patient – some non-communicable diseases could have an impact on the long-term healing of periapical lesions.

I am really looking forward to attending WEC 24, it will be a unique opportunity to learn and share some good times with the best in endodontics. See you there!
