Former Chief Dental Officer, and current Chair of the British Fluoridation Society (BFS), Dr Barry Cockcroft CBE is on the podcast just after the four Chief Medical Officers currently serving the UK released a statement confirming that water fluoridation is an effective public health intervention for reducing the prevalence of tooth decay and improving oral health inequalities across the UK.
Barry discusses the importance of water fluoridation, dealing with skeptics, the work that the BFS does, and how you can get involved.
