General Dental Council publishes 2019 Dental Professionals Survey findings

As part of the General Dental Council’s (GDC) commitment to using evidence and insight to guide all of its work, the regulator today published the findings from its 2019 Dental Professionals Survey.
The independent research, which includes both quantitative and qualitative elements and represents the fifth instalment since 2011, provides insight on dental professionals’ attitudes towards a wide range of issues, building on the regulator’s knowledge in a number of key areas.
The research was, however, undertaken prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore caution should be exercised in drawing current conclusions from the findings, given the extraordinary changes experienced by dental professionals in the interim.
