70 years of the BSDHT!

The British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) is celebrating its 70th birthday this year!
After beginning life as an informal group of just twelve individuals in 1949, today the BSDHT is now the biggest representative of the professions in the UK, helping all dental hygienists and dental therapists to make the most of the careers.
Patricia Macpherson, a member of the BSDHT for over 40 years says:
“The BSDHT has changed so much over the years. From humble beginnings it has now evolved into an exciting hive of activity and gives all dental hygienists and dental therapists a chance to excel in their professions, receive the support they need and network with likeminded individuals.”
