Endodontic therapy was a key topic of conversation at Dentistry Show London, led by representatives from the British Endodontic Society (BES).
There was standing room only for past president Dr Phil Tomson’s Vital Pulp Therapy Workshop, which explored the technique in detail, and the benefits it offers patients and clinicians alike. The session included a hands-on portion, supported by Septodont and Albert Waeschle, in which attendees could practice the technique and receive instant feedback.
Dr. Ruxandra Maria Cioroianu attended the workshop and shared her experience:
“Phil was amazing. He explained the vital pulp therapy technique very well. Everything was clear and I had the opportunity to ask further questions. I would like to provide vital pulp therapy in my practice, especially as I primarily work with children. The hands-on session was the best, as we are rarely able to try new techniques straight away!”
The endodontic discussions didn’t end there, with Dr David Edwards presenting “Decision-making in endodontic post-treatment disease” and incoming president Dr Daniel Vaz de Souza delivering his session “Decision-making in endodontics: treatment planning mastery”. The BES stand was busy with visitors eager to find out more about what membership has to offer.
