The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) has joined forces with Oral-B, and launched a video that made its debut at the Birmingham Dental Conference and Dentistry Show 2026. The video accompanies a leaflet: A Healthy Implant Starts With You, which seeks to help patients protect their dental implants with good oral care habits.
The leaflet sets out the key risk factors for dental implant failure and guides patients through what to expect at each stage of the treatment journey, from extraction and healing through to final crown placement. Crucially, it encourages patients to begin improving their oral care habits before surgery, establishing routines that support long-term implant success. The leaflet outlines practical oral care routines that can be individually tailored to the patient’s needs, underpinned by current evidence.
Both the ADI and Oral-B share a commitment to supporting patients in achieving the best possible outcomes from dental implant treatment. The collaboration reflects a growing recognition that long-term implant success depends as much on what happens at home as it does in the clinic.
