The IAS Advanced Diploma – a Level 7 programme leading to the CGDent Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics – is designed for GPDs ready to manage more complex malocclusions, and develop their orthodontic practice further.
Delivered across six in-depth modules over two years, the programme covers treatment planning for a full range of malocclusions, all major appliance systems, retention, and specialist case supervision. Crucially, delegates receive one-to-one mentorship for ten live treated cases, bringing real clinical depth to the learning experience. Class sizes are capped at 12 to ensure individual attention throughout.
The programme is led by Professor Ross Hobson and recommended for dentists treating a minimum of ten orthodontic cases per year with existing fixed appliance experience. Find out today what you can learn with the IAS Academy.
