mydentist, the UK’s largest dental care provider, has merged and expanded two of its practices bringing an all-new, state-of-the-art dental practice to Weston-super-Mare, following an investment of £2 million
The brand-new practice, mydentist, Gallagher Retail Park, Weston-super-Mare, was officially opened by Practice Manager, Chelsea Pearce, and her team on 8th July 2026.
All the dentists and staff from the previous Oxford Street and Beaconsfield Road sites have now moved to the new practice, where patient appointments are now underway.
With the merge and relocation, comes an expansion of the team and subsequent job creation for the local area. mydentist at Gallagher Retail Park now boasts a team of 30+ staff members, including dentists, dental nurses, reception staff, treatment coordinators, and managers.
The new practice marks a significant investment in the local community and will provide enhanced dental care to the circa 15,000 patients. Patients can now benefit from a brand new, state-of-the-art facility with improved accessibility, and an expanded range of treatments and technology. With free parking and dedicated disabled spaces, the practice addresses key patient concerns that affected the previous locations, particularly the paid parking and limited spaces at the town centre site, as well as accessibility challenges at Oxford Street.
The new practice features 13 surgeries with scope for future expansion, advanced digital pathways, CBCT scanning technology, and dedicated treatment coordinator rooms to offer greater support to patients when finding the right treatment option to suit their individual needs and requirements.
The practice now offers an expanded range of treatments, including endodontics with a newly appointed endodontist, implants, aligners, and comprehensive cosmetic services. Through these additions, mydentist Weston-super-Mare can now offer a full range of dental treatments – from NHS care to myoptions, the provider’s affordable private offering, and Premium private care.
