The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and Oral-B Professional will officially launch a new collaborative educational video and patient leaflet on peri-implant disease at the British Dental Conference & Dentistry Show, Birmingham, on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May 2026.
The launch takes place at the ADI Implant Theatre, where delegates can watch the video and collect the patient leaflet – resources developed to help clinicians educate patients on the risks of peri-implant disease and the importance of post-surgical oral hygiene. Peri-implant disease affects approximately 20% of patients who have received dental implants.
The video features specialist periodontists Amit Patel and Payvand Mendhaji, as well as dental hygienist and therapist Linzy Baker, and covers supportive therapy, patient compliance, and evidence-based home care – including the Oral-B iO toothbrush and Oral-B stannous fluoride toothpaste.
