The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) is delighted to announce Dr Murielle Njomgang as a recipient of its prestigious scholarship. This award carries particular significance for a clinician whose path into implant dentistry has spanned three countries, two languages, and years of determined professional development.
Originally from Cameroon and trained in Paris, Dr Njomgang is now undertaking an MSc in Implantology at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. “Receiving the ADI scholarship means a great deal to me both personally and professionally,” she says. “This scholarship represents recognition of that journey, and the effort behind it.”
For Dr Njomgang, the award also carries a broader meaning. “In the longer term, I hope to mentor others from underrepresented backgrounds and help make the field more inclusive and accessible.”
To future applicants, her message is this: “Go for it, even if you have doubts. Be honest about your journey, your goals, and your challenges. The ADI is clearly looking to support potential, not perfection.”
