As the Midas World Tour made its stop in London on 22 May 2026, delegates were able to hear from leading clinicians Dr Wally Renne and Dr Tony Mennito to discover the true potential of digital dental care.
Together, Dr Renne and Dr Mennito presented a range of applications demonstrating the Midas and Pro 2 3D Printer in modern dental care. This ranged from high-quality onlays and crowns for minimally invasive restorations, to night guards, smile trials, dentures and more.
They presented the advancements of resin materials, including the Crown HT, containing over 60% ceramics and exceptional optical properties, as well as the integration of digital scanners and design software, enhanced further by AI.
Delegates were also hands-on with 3D-printed restorations on the Midas, completing the post-printing process to create aesthetic results through polishing, staining and glazing. Dr Renne and Dr Mennito guided the professionals with advice that can be immediately implemented in the practice.
In the afternoon, Dr Renne produced a nightguard live – from digital scan to final product on the Pro 2 demonstrating the speed at which dental professionals cand efficiency can work using SprintRay.
