The Association of Dental Groups (ADG) joined colleagues, academics, and industry partners on Wednesday evening to celebrate the fifth anniversary of UCL’s Global Business School for Health (GBSH). The milestone event recognised GBSH’s rapid rise as a world‑leading institution dedicated to developing leaders, generating evidence, supporting innovation, and tackling the fragmentation that continues to challenge health systems globally.
As an Honorary Professor at GBSH, ADG Executive Chair, Neil Carmichael joined the celebrations, reflecting on the strong alignment between the School’s mission and the ADG’s strategic aims. Both organisations share a commitment to strengthening leadership, connecting strategy with implementation, and forging meaningful collaboration across public, private, and educational sectors.
Neil Carmichael, Executive Chair of the ADG and Honorary Professor at UCL GBSH, said: “Celebrating five years of UCL’s Global Business School for Health is a reminder of just how vital its work has become. GBSH is developing leaders, generating evidence, supporting innovation and tackling fragmentation across healthcare, all of which are the ‘bread and butter’ of Dental Groups. It is inspiring to see GBSH connecting the health industry, service and support, and the institutions and structures that hold the system together. This mirrors the ADG’s own mission and demonstrates the value of dental groups in creating coherence, distributing resources effectively and supporting implementation on the ground. The ADG is delighted that UCL GBSH’s Professor Nora Colton will be joining us at our Conference in July to address members.
