Two headline speakers you won’t want to miss

Don’t miss our headline speaker sessions with Piers Linney and Elizabeth Day – Entrepreneur, investor and former Dragons’ Den star Piers Linney MBE will be presenting on ‘Putting AI to work’ in the BDA Theatre on 15th May at 10:25am. This session will explore how AI is already transforming dental practices, clinical decision-making and business strategy.

Hosted by Trishala Lakhani, bestselling author and broadcaster Elizabeth Day will be taking part in an inspiring fireside chat, ‘What failure teaches about building a successful brand and business’ in the BDA Theatre on Saturday 16th May at 11:30am. This session will focus on resilience, ambition and the power of learning from failure, exploring what setbacks can teach us about building a successful business and brand.

Brand-new ADI Implant Theatre

New for 2026, the ADI Implant Theatre, supported by the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), will offer a dedicated platform for implant innovation, education and clinical excellence. Covering advanced digital workflows, cutting-edge surgical techniques and full-arch and restorative implant solutions, this theatre is designed for clinicians at every stage of their implant journey.

New Clinical Excellence Theatre

Also launching at BDCDS 2026 is the new Clinical Excellence Theatre, a focused space celebrating the highest standards of clinical practice.  This area will bring together some of dentistry’s most influential clinicians to share expertise and cutting-edge approaches across a wide range of disciplines.

Student Competition with University of Birmingham Dental School

BDCDS is proud to be working alongside dental students at the University of Birmingham School Dental School on an exciting student competition themed around the future of dentistry. Three finalists will present their concepts live at the Next Generation Conference at 1:30pm on Friday 15 May. Come along to hear the next wave of dental innovators pitch their ideas to an esteemed judging panel made up of industry leaders, innovators and peers.

New DentalPod area

The all-new DentalPod area brings a fresh, relaxed space to the show floor, featuring live podcast-style recordings from leading voices including Your Dental Besties, alongside panel discussions and informal conversations.
