Mark Topley and Lisa Bainham will co-present a session titled “Awkward? Not anymore: Mastering tough talks with confidence and clarity” in the Business Theatre at BDIA Dental Showcase. Mark says:“Leadership in a dental practice often comes down to one core skill: the ability to handle the conversations that matter.
“In my part of the session at BDIA Dental Showcase, I’ll explore how leaders can deal with these moments in a way that’s calm, confident, and fair. We’ll look at two areas where things often go wrong: conversations with the team, and conversations with patients. We’ll offer simple frameworks help leaders stay steady: these should emphasise empathy, clear boundaries, and a focus on solutions rather than blame.
