The British Endodontic Society (BES) Prize for Foundation Dentists aims to promote excellence in endodontics amongst newly qualified practitioners. This year’s winner, Dr Nikhil Mediratta, shares his experience:
“I completed my foundation training in Shropshire and I’m currently undertaking Dental Core Training in Cardiff.
“This year, I was delighted to win the British Endodontic Society Prize for Foundation Dentists. My case report consisted of five endodontic cases which included vital pulp therapy, management of two traumatised upper central incisors, as well as routine non-surgical treatment. I was really proud to win the award, and would advise anyone with an interest in endodontology to submit some examples of the work that they’ve completed.
“As part of the prize for winning this award, I have been invited to attend the BES November Regional Meeting which I’m really looking forward to. There will be a whole range of great speakers as well as networking opportunities and evening activities to keep us all busy. I look forward to seeing you there!”
