The British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN) has referred to its lawyers after a dental nurse recruitment agency falsely claimed to have acquired a mailing list of contacts from the association.
BADN has reconfirmed that it “does NOT give/sell or otherwise release ANY information regarding our members or past members under any circumstances”. The association was alerted to the spurious claim after it was posted on social media and brought to their attention by other bona fide recruitment agencies.
Dental nurses have been reassured that any information held by the company in question was not obtained from BADN. The association has instructed the company to stop making the claim and to issue a statement confirming that no information was sourced from BADN.
