Professor Anibal Diogenes will be joining the British Endodontic Society (BES) Regional Meeting in Birmingham on 21 and 22 November 2025. He discusses what delegates can expect from his sessions “A bostin’ guide to preventing a bawlin’” on pain management:
“Excellent pain management is a key pillar of dentistry and endodontics, so I’m honoured to have the opportunity of having two lectures at the meeting – one will be on anaesthesia and the other on analgesia.
“In both lectures we will identify the reasons why it’s sometimes difficult to achieve profound anaesthesia and provide adequate pain control post-operatively. We’ll also review evidence-based strategies for how to overcome these challenges. It’s my hope that every participant in the meeting will gain knowledge, learn new clinical tips that can be readily applied in the clinic to overcome these challenges, and provide painless treatment for their patients.
“Please join the meeting, I hope to see you there. Also, if you haven’t joined the British Endodontic Society yet, I highly encourage you to do so – it’s a wonderful way to visit old friends and make new ones, make new connections, and get new knowledge.”
