The EdgeEndo bioceramic product line is suitable for cold and warm obturation and for all types of endodontic repair procedures.
Henry Schein UK presents EdgeBioceramic SealerTM, the new bioceramic endodontic obturation product line by EdgeEndo®, one of the world’s largest NiTi rotary file suppliers. The new dental sealers are made from a type of patented ceramic material, a premix of calcium silicate and calcium phosphate-based bioceramics, with research indicating that bioceramics can efficiently enhance dentin bridge formation. They come in different viscosities to suit various needs and are easy to use. These sealers help to fill and seal root canals after treatment by interacting with the natural moisture in the tooth structure.

The EdgeBioceramicTM product portfolio is composed of three products:
- EdgeBioCeramic™ Sealer: This bioceramic product is primarily indicated for cold obturation as a root end filling capped with a plug of putty – using hydraulic condensation methods.
- EdgeBioCeramic™ ThermalFlow™ Root Canal Sealer: This version of the company´s bioceramic sealer has a lower viscosity when heated, making it suitable for warm condensation procedures.
- EdgeBioCeramic RetroFill™ and Perforation Repair: This filling system is recommended for most repair procedures that require a condensed material and strong resistance to washout, retrofilling, pulp capping, resorptive defect repair (internal and external), apexification, and apexogenesis.
The new endodontic bioceramic sealers are designed for biocompatibility and are free from metal and resin, helping to achieve long-term success in endodontic treatments.
