Planmeca’s world-leading range of dental equipment is growing with a new treatment unit. Planmeca Pro50™ dental unit is the result of continuous evolution. It is designed to showcase the next level of dental units – the ones that come with cutting-edge technology, ergonomics, quality and infection control.

Planmeca Pro50™ adapts to the individual needs of every user and every treatment room. All the functions are symmetrical to guarantee equal comfort for both right- and left-handed users. The unit allows the working position to be as close to the patient’s head as possible – both sitting and standing.  Balanced instrument arms carry the weight of the instruments and require only small movements to use them. The compact instrument console is light to move and can be placed right next to the working area.

Planmeca Pro50 dental unit offers Planmeca Halo™ interactive touch screen, which brings together all the elements of a daily clinical workflow – from accessing patient data to dental unit management. The screen can be accessed conveniently by the assistant, doctor and patient.

All infection control functions are elegantly integrated into the unit to guarantee a straightforward workflow.  The unit consists of smooth aluminium surfaces, which tolerate cleaning solutions well. The state-of-the-art design of the unit, including quality upholstery with a minimum number of seams, makes the cleaning easy and ensures impeccable external infection control. Cleaning procedures are guided step by step in the unit’s screens.

Over the years, Planmeca dental units have received several design awards for their functional and recognizable design.  Planmeca Pro50 unit features all the best design details that our products are known for. It is Finnish design at its best – compact, elegant, light, silent, comfortable, sturdy, adaptable, and durable. On top of that, the unit offers an extremely comfortable UltraRelax™ upholstery, which is made of extremely durable artificial leather and viscoelastic memory foam, adapting perfectly to a patient’s body shape.

“It has been an honour to be a part of this incredible journey of creating our next level of dental units. Over 50 years of continuous research and development culminate in Planmeca Pro50 dental unit. We aim to listen closely to our customers and refine our products accordingly. The development and manufacturing of our dental units take place in our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland, which guarantees the best possible quality of our products, “ says Tuomas Jurvanen, Vice President for Planmeca’s Dental Care Units.
