Parkell Inc, USA is proud to launch Predicta Bioactive Cement on the European market. The latest member of the Predicta Bioactive family is a universal self-adhesive, self-etching, dual-cure resin cement with exceptional bond strength and robust bioactive properties.
Indicated for luting crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and prefabricated metal, non-metal, and fiber posts, Predicta Bioactive Cement offers outstanding bond strength without the need for additional primers, and contains MDP for strong bonds to zirconia. Its ideal viscosity and low film thickness result in fast and easy cleanup, as well as complete seating of the crown.
What separates Predicta Bioactive Cement from other cements, however, is its bioactivity. The unique formula allows for a continuous release and recharge of beneficial ions, including calcium, phosphate, and fluoride. This forms a dense layer of hydroxyapatite at the margins, sealing microgaps and preventing microleakage, a situation that can lead to recurrent decay. In addition, the hydroxyapatite also protects crown margins from the harsh elements normally present in the oral cavity, guards against secondary caries, and reduces sensitivity.
Predicta Bioactive cement is available in three popular shades: A2, translucent and a white opaque shade that blocks out particularly dark stump shades for perfect restauration aesthetics.
