Young dentists new to working in practice are invited to sign up to the specialist dental accountancy firm Ross Brooke Dental (RBD) at a discounted rate to start their career on a positive financial footing. For each new associate to sign up to its services, the firm will make a £50 donation to the BDA Benevolent Fund.
Ross Brooke Dental has three places to offer to new dental associates who will pay only £350 – half the £700 standard fee – for their first year accounts and tax return. For each new client, RBD pledges a £50 donation to the the British Dental Association Benevolent fund. The firm chose to work with the BDA Benevolent Fund because of its role in supporting dental students, dentists, and their families through hard times.
Launched in the autumn of 2023, the campaign aims to build awareness among new associates of the importance of good business advice early in your career. Last year, the RBD campaign resulted in four young associate dentists joining Ross Brooke Dental at a discounted fee and a £1000 donation to the British Dental Association (BDA) Benevolent Fund.
The dentists who joined RBD as a result of last year’s campaign are experiencing the supportive style of consultancy that the firm likes to offer, including a tutorial in an online accounts system. This enables them to track their income and outgoings.
James Wootton, one of the fortunate four in the first intake, said: “The team at RBD know exactly what I should claim for and have been very helpful. The reduced price entry point was very helpful at a time when I had only just started working in practice.”
